Retractable towbars are perfect for those looking for the perfect in-between - the functionality and convenience of having a towbar when you need it and out of sight when you don’t.

The retractable towbar is easy to install and use, wired into your car's electrical system and moved into position quickly only when required and is then stored beneath the back bumper. Perfect for domestic use with bikes, boats and caravans, the towbar will not interfere with the parking sensor so would be perfect for those with newer cars.

Slimmer than the traditional flange ball towbar, the retractable towbar features a swan neck and does not restrict access to the boot. The tow ball can remain attached when the bar is retracted - there's no need to store it separately. A variety of friction type stabilisers can be fitted to the bar, including AL-KO. Cycle carriers can also be fitted to the bar but it is not possible to use when towing.
